Three worlds

Kimbra 90s Music Intergenre Mix
Images sources: 1, 2 & 3

As we all know, a brand new album by Kimbra is just one of three new worlds, to say the least. We remain eager to listen also to the stripped back versions performed live at radio stations, and the energetic full band performances before large audiences.

Experience those three worlds in one single mix right now!
Listen to '90s Music' Intergenre Mix:

This '90s Music' mix starts with a live performance at The Edge (New Zealand, August 2014), then visits the album version, and ends with another live performance, a concert at Forum Theatre in Melbourne (Australia, May 2014).

Why did Kimbra leave the farm

“I’d been caught up with all the Grammy and Gotye stuff happening,
and the touring, the constant affirmation — or praise, or criticism,
or self-reflection — everywhere,” she says. “You get wrapped up in it.
Then here I was chilling with a bunch of sheep.
And they don’t give a crap who you are. You’re not special to them.
You spend time with them and there’s this beautiful kind of harmony
of how everything works in that environment.
It was a really great place to create.”

This is the reason why she left the farm where she was living in LA. Don't trust idyllic silent selfies. They don't tell the whole story. Here it is...

Kimbra meets the most annoying singer sheep ever

Visions of jewelry

"Donning an all-black ensemble,
  an intricate gold necklace,
bright red lipstick and a leopard-print,
she looked the part of a front."
